Free Books for Schools 2022

Thanks to Lead Sponsor Baillie Gifford, we’ve got LOTS of free books to give to schools taking part in this year’s Festival. We’re offering all pupils attending the Book Festival in-person this August a free book while schools tuning into events online can enter our competition to win a book bundle for their library.

Free Books for Pupils

Pupils visiting the Festival in-person this year can look forward to receiving a free title related to the event they come and see as well as the opportunity to get books signed by authors in our Signing Tent. We’re also giving pupils who attend Baillie Gifford Gala Day in-person on Tuesday 30 August free goody bags to take home and enjoy!
