With eight eligible events for primary school pupils and six eligible events for secondary school pupils, that’s a lot of free books to give away!

Terms and Conditions

• Schools will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
• However, in the case of excessive demand, the Book Festival reserves the right to prioritise applications from schools with most pressing financial need.
• Only applications submitted via the form listed will be considered.
• All applications must be received by Friday 18 June, any received after this deadline will be considered ineligible.
• Only Scottish Schools are eligible to apply.
• Please only fill in the form once for your class. Each class can only register to receive books for one event (on the form there is also space to include a second choice of event, if your first choice is oversubscribed .
• Where more than one author is appearing in an event schools will receive equal numbers of each author’s book to distribute among pupils.
• Home schooled pupils based in Scotland are very welcome to apply.
