The 2024 Schools Programme runs from 20-23 August 2024. All events for schools are FREE to attend in-person, with selected events available to watch online, either live or on-demand so you can catch up at a time that suits you and your class.

With events exploring a variety of curriculum-led subjects and topics from some of the best authors, illustrators and thinkers writing for children and young people today, taking part in the Book Festival is a fun and accessible way to get children engaging with books and stories: exploring the world around them in a creative and thought-provoking way.
