It’s Live! The 2016 Edinburgh International Book Festival programme is now available.

With over 800 events exploring the power of the human mind to imagine a better world from authors including Han Kang, winner of the Man Booker International Prize, American novelist Jonathan Safran Foer, actor Alan Cumming and Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown (to name just a few) there’s something for everyone.

Our young adult programme sees Costa Book of the Year winner Frances Hardinge and  the first young adult book from Cecelia Ahern and the children’s programme includes favourites Julia Donaldson, Kristina Stephenson, Julian Clary and Andy Stanton, as well as lots of free and drop-in activities in our Story Box venue, including celebrations of Winnie-the-Pooh, Paddington Bear, the Broons and Oor Wullie.

Tickets go on sale at 8.30am on Tuesday 21 June.
