Baillie Gifford Schools Programme 2018 – Changes to Printed Programme

Since sending the 2018 schools brochure to print, we have had to make some changes to venues, timings and content of some events to ensure the best possible experience for pupils visiting the Festival site.

If you’re coming along to any of the events listed below, or are considering booking tickets for these events, please take note of the new details below and be sure to arrive in plenty of time for the start of the event.

Thursday 23 August

Poetry Time with James Carter (10.00am) will now focus on James’ new book, Once Upon a Star. The book will be available to purchase on the day – priced at £11.99.

Friday 24 August

Andrea Pippins: Illustrating the Inspirational (12.15pm) will now take place in the Baillie Gifford Corner Theatre.

Alex Bell: Frozen Fantasy Fiction (12.15pm) will now take place in the Spark Theatre on George Street.

Tuesday 28 August (Baillie Gifford Gala Day)

Press Play with Chloe Daykin will now take place at 11.45am in the Baillie Gifford Main Theatre.

Philip Ardagh & Elissa Elwick: Barking Up the Wrong Tree will now take place at 12 noon in The Spiegeltent.
